This makes it quite difficult to configure the correct volume level, because you have to guess first and then let the slider jump to the clicked level.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press button over plugin slider.
2. Move the mouse.


Actual Results:  
Volume doesn't change.

Expected Results:  
Volume should change.

Adds the enhanced functionality

I like it that way, try it. This patch also fixes a bug, that happens if the mouse cannot move below or above a pixel position (while changing the volume level), because the panel is at the bottom/top of the screen.

nice, I like it. You forgot to check whether the button was pressed in "motion_cb" though.
